Trace & Tribute Terms and Conditions

1. Customizing & Proofing

Approval Process: For all custom orders (excluding "Ready to Engrave" items), a digital proof will be sent to your provided email. Production will not begin until we receive your written approval. If written approval is not received after 48 hours, we will deem the proof to be correct and your order will begin production.
Customer Responsibility: It is the customer's responsibility to verify all spelling, dates, and design elements. Once a proof is approved by the customer, Trace & Tribute is not responsible for any errors that were present in the approved design.

2. Payment And Pricing

All orders must be paid in full at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed upon via a formal Purchase Order (PO) for departments or corporate accounts.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice.
Bulk pricing quotes are valid for 14 days from the date of issue.

3. Refund Cancellation Policy

No Refunds on Personalized Items: Due to the permanent nature of laser engraving, all sales of personalized products are final.
Cancellations: Orders may be canceled for a full refund only if the design process has not yet begun. If a design proof has already been created, a 20% design fee will be withheld from the refund.
Defects/Errors: If we make a mistake that differs from your approved proof, we will replace the item at no cost to you. You must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

4. Intellectual Property

Customer Logos: You represent that you have the legal right to use any logos, insignias, or trademarked material you provide to us. Trace & Tribute is not liable for any copyright or trademark infringement arising from the use of customer-provided assets.
Right to Showcase: We reserve the right to photograph and display finished products on our website and social media for promotional purposes unless you explicitly request a "Non-Disclosure" (common for sensitive military or police unit gear).

5. Shipping & Delivery

Risk of loss and title for items pass to you upon our delivery to the shipping carrier.
While we guarantee our production lead times, we are not liable for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.

6. Limitation Of Liability

Trace & Tribute shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our products or website. Our maximum liability to you for any product purchased shall be the amount paid for said product.

7. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in or serving Fluvanna County, Virginia.
